These tests including the latest techniques about visual effects, video editing and chromakey technology. The TV broadcasters who participated are: BBC, Thames, BRT, NOS, WDR, RB, SWF, DR, NRK, SR (now SVT), YLE and SFR. All these tests recorded on video tapes (Philips N1500) and called 'VTR test'. Sveriges Radio (Television) starts the test with a testcard from Stockholm followed by the logo of Eurovision. We seen clips from Le Marie Antoinette Show, The Singers and Scapins Rackartyg. Filmed on a Red camera at 3k and 33fps, with a long lens meant a really narrow depth of field - foreground elements are sharp, and the background action is kept defocussed.
